POEM: A STRUMMIN' AND A DRUMMIN" Cymbals afire, drums aglow, Pat on percussion, timing the flow, For Roger on banjo in rhythmic solo. CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY wording encapsulating the synergy between the painting and poem: Pat Elms on drums and Roger Nicholls on banjo, irreplaceables with Bob Thomas and The Thomcats playing "Jazz on the Island" in Lemsford, Hertfordshire, in June, 2009. The gig raised over £1,500 for Hertfordshire Action on Disability.
